About Charlotte Moore
Charlotte began her career as a pharmaceutical investment analyst after graduating with a degree in chemistry. Although she still has a soft spot for spreadsheets, a desire to do something more creative led her to transition into journalism.
Over the past two decades, she has built a successful freelance career specialising in how pension schemes and large institutions allocate assets. Through thousands of interviews with asset managers, investment consultants and asset owners, she has developed a deep understanding of how the industry thinks, invests and makes decisions.
Her work as an award-winning journalist has focused on the forces shaping investment behaviour — from regulation and market dynamics to the growing importance of sustainable investing.
Recognising a lack of space for open discussion around sustainable investment, Charlotte created her own networking events, bringing together industry professionals to explore both the complexities and opportunities in this evolving area.
She has since expanded her work into hosting podcasts, moderating panels and acting as a master of ceremonies, helping organisations communicate their ideas more clearly and engage more effectively with their audiences.
Alongside her work at Moore Squared Communications, Charlotte continues to write as a working journalist.
Beyond the bio
I’ve always been curious about how people build both portfolios and business – and the importance of strong relationships that drive success.
That curiosity runs through my work from hosting guests on The Professional Investment Podcast, working with asset managers to better understand their clients and moderating panel discussions..
Outside of work, I relax by spending more time meeting and talking to people. My perfect week is to meet five new people!
