About Natasha Moore

Natasha chose to study modern Chinese at the University of Leeds after a talk at her school told her future economic growth with led by this region. But living in Beijing for a year gave her a passion for democracy and that’s why she chose to work in politics.
The first decade of her working life was spent working for the Conservative Party and Parliament. She learnt about the complex relationships between policy, business and the media. She saw how politicians think about solutions rather than problems. She mastered creating opportunity in a saturated media market and learnt how to take an audience on a journey.

She then switched to working in asset management corporate communications asset where her language skills proved invaluable. In addition to Mandarin Chinese, she also speaks Spanish and French. These later linguistic abilities proved helpful in managing communication agencies in Europe, Australia, Japan, Singapore, Hong Kong and China.

Working in asset management gave her a crash course in pensions, institutional investments, wealth management and capital markets.

She held senior communication positions, working with senior leaders and executives. She provided strategic communications advice and shared responsibility for managing the corporate identity and reputation of the business.

Throughout her career she coached individuals to develop their communication skills and tell better stories than their competitors.

She developed a passion for sustainable investing and applied it to her personal life. She invested in double glazed windows for her flat, does not own a car and loves nothing more than an early Sunday-morning trip to the recycling centre!

She wants to continue alpine skiing and understands that ski resorts are already feeling the effects of climate change with shorter seasons and greater levels of precipitation.

Working with journalists and senior leaders has taught her about the importance of the client experience and how communications is an essential part of the tool kit to building relationships.
